For a Montreal 3D printing project, the most useful first question is what you already have. A finished STL needs a printing service; a photo or idea needs a custom brief; an existing catalogue design can be ordered directly. 3DCentral produces in Laval, Quebec, and serves Montreal by delivery. You already have a model file
Use Print My File for an eligible STL, 3MF or OBJ. The upload service is available now, with PLA and PETG options. Check the dimensions, colour choices and quantity, then review the displayed price status and checkout total before paying. The uploader displays its current format, size and print limits.
A coloured image of a model is different from saved filament assignments. For multicolour file printing, use a compatible painted 3MF and check the available colours. Our file-preparation guide covers scale, mesh problems and separate parts. If your file needs substantial design changes, explain the work in a custom request first.
You have a photo, drawing or idea
Start a custom request with authorized reference images and a short description. Useful details include the subject, intended object, approximate dimensions, quantity and date needed. You can ask for help choosing uncertain options.

- For an accepted project, we confirm the concept, scope, price, timing and included revisions before payment.
- After concept approval and payment, we prepare the 3D model.
- You approve the final model before printing begins.
The request is not an instant generated model or a paid order. For a likeness, see figurines from photos; for an animal, use the pet figurine page. A part or prototype can be described for feasibility review, with its required fit and intended use. No performance or certification is implied by submitting it.
You want something already designed
The online catalogue combines original 3DCentral designs with curated community-artist models. Choose the physical product and its listed options rather than paying for a new likeness or design. Artist attribution matters: not every catalogue design was created in-house.
If you own a printer and want rights to print designs yourself, that is a separate licensing route. 3DCentral’s licence covers eligible original 3DCentral designs only, not community-artist models or every custom commission. For another artist’s commercial printing rights, contact that artist.
Specify the result, not just a material name
For a shelf collectible, explain which facial features, text or surfaces are most important. For a prop, include dimensions and assembly expectations. For a part, describe what it fits and how it will be used. Material, orientation, visible layers and support contact all affect the outcome. Consult the PLA/PETG guide, and have any special finish confirmed in the quote.
Do not assume a future finish shown in a service description can be ordered today. Current custom options and the accepted proposal determine the work. File-service options are separate from bespoke custom choices.
What changes price and timing?
Geometry, selected material, machine time, supports, colour changes and quantity influence a file quote. Custom design also requires scoping the model work and revisions. Identical copies differ from a group of individually personalized figures. Give an event’s arrival deadline early so production and transit can both be considered.
Prices are in Canadian dollars, with taxes and shipping shown at checkout. Canadian destinations are domestic shipments from Laval. US customers can also order; use the current shipping policy and checkout for the destination’s charges. Local distance does not remove production time, and priority handling is not a delivery guarantee.
Ordering locally is an online process
Our production facility is at 1325 Rue Bergar in Laval. It has no retail counter or onsite collection, and there is no Montreal pickup point. Send files and requests online; finished orders travel by carrier. For a Quebec business, include the quantity, delivery municipality and any invoicing requirements in the brief so those needs can be confirmed.
