A collectible figurine caught at the top of a lift, bar overhead and stance set. It is a display piece with a clear line of action, which is what makes it read well from a distance on a gym shelf rather than needing to be picked up to be understood.
A shelf that does not usually get gifts
Home gyms accumulate equipment and almost nothing else. Holding a loaded bar in print
Printed in PLA at a 0.16 mm layer height on our own FDM machines. A horizontal bar spanning two raised wings is the structurally awkward part of this sculpt; the geometry is thickened where the bar meets the hands so the span comes off the plate cleanly.
In the gym
A rack shelf is a rough environment: chalk dust, vibration and the occasional dropped plate. Keep it off the platform itself and out of the path of a bar, and it will be fine. Chalk wipes off with a dry cloth. It is a display piece rather than equipment, so treat a fall onto rubber flooring as a real risk.
