Card XVIII, rendered small and strange
A collectible figurine drawn from The Moon, one of the most atmospheric cards in the major arcana, and rebuilt as a small sculpture. It is a decorative display piece with an unusual amount of iconography packed into it, which is why it holds attention on a shelf longer than a plain character figure does.
For readers, and for people who like the imagery
Tarot decor is a real category and almost all of it is flat — prints, cards, cloths. A three-dimensional piece is rarer and reads differently on a reading table, an altar shelf, or beside a stack of decks. It sells to practising readers, to collectors of the imagery, and to people buying for someone whose interests are hard to shop for. Printed in Quebec.
Iconography at print scale
Printed in PLA at a 0.16 mm layer height on our own FDM machines. Card imagery is dense by nature, and the resolution is what keeps the symbolic elements separable at this size instead of collapsing into surface noise.
On a reading table
It sits well among decks and cloths without competing with them, and at this scale it does not crowd a spread. Card stock and printed sculpture have the same enemy — sunlight — so wherever the decks are kept out of the light is the right place for this too. Dust it with a soft brush.
