The hippocampus has carried sea-god chariots since antiquity; this hatchling is the myth at its newest and most portable. Coil it around a pen for the classic curl, arc it mid-swim along a shelf edge, or pose it among our reef pieces where the cinder colouring reads as volcanic against the pastels. The serpentine articulation makes every reposition a small performance. A soft brush between the segments keeps the current flowing; keep it from heat despite the name. Recommended age: 14+.
