3D printed in-house in Laval, Quebec — original 3DCentral designs and curated community-artist models. Every order ships straight from our own print farm. Printed in Quebec — ships from our farm.

No customs bill at your door: US orders ship duties-prepaid (DDP), with shipping and the current US import tariff (50%) included at checkout — the price you see is final. US: no customs bill at your door — duties prepaid.

US shipping is Delivered Duty Paid only

We only ship to the United States as Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). We prepay import duties so the carrier does not invoice you for customs when the parcel arrives.

At checkout, US orders add current US import tariffs — 50% of the goods’ value — as a line item, on top of the US shipping rate.

Canadian orders are unchanged. This extra cost applies only when the shipping address is in the United States.

Behind the Print Farm Articles

Inside a working Quebec 3D print farm: production runs, quality control, packing, and the detail behind every 3DCentral collectible.

These posts are written from the floor of our facility in Laval, Quebec, not from a desk. They cover what actually happens between a model being chosen and a finished piece leaving the building: how a production run is scheduled, how we inspect prints against a written checklist, how machines are maintained on a preventive cycle rather than fixed after they fail, and how we evaluate a new filament brand in stages before it ever touches a customer order.

The seasonal entries are the honest ones. Running printers through a Quebec winter raises questions about climate, humidity and power that nobody warns you about. High-volume stretches raise a different one: holding throughput without letting quality slip. We also write up the parts most operations keep quiet, including how we pack figurines so they survive shipping and how we handle a return when a print is not right.

If you own printers, much of this transfers directly. If you buy from us, it is the record of how your order was made.

Read Decentralized Manufacturing for the wider argument, Design Process for what happens upstream, or browse the 3DCentral catalogue.
