A Canadian collectible actually made in Canada
A collectible figurine in full national colours, made for display on a shelf, a mantel or a desk during the tournaments that matter. Most Canadian-flag merchandise is printed abroad and shipped in by the container; this one is printed at our own farm in Quebec, which is a difference worth caring about if you are buying it for the sentiment in the first place.
Built for the season it gets used in
It comes out for the winter tournaments, the summer long weekend, the citizenship ceremony, the send-off for someone moving abroad. Because it is small and solid it survives being moved between the office and the living room every few months, which is more than can be said for most seasonal decor.
Colour and construction
Printed in PLA at a 0.16 mm layer height on our own FDM machines. The red-and-white scheme is printed into the model rather than painted on afterwards, so it will not chip along the edges the way a coated finish does when it lives on a busy desk.
Out of the box, into the season
It arrives ready to display with no assembly, which matters when it is bought as a last-minute addition to a watch party. Between seasons it stores in a drawer without special wrapping. If it goes on a mantel above a working fireplace, move it before the fire is lit — PLA and radiant heat do not agree.
