The Encounter That Melts Initiative

Elementals are the fantasy genre’s weather, and lava is its worst forecast: pose it erupting from terrain scatter, looming over our stone arch, or mid-surge toward a doomed adventuring party. The molten texture rewards paint spectacularly — black crust dry-brushed over orange-red base and the rock appears lit from inside. Display duty suits it too, as the fantasy shelf’s brightest menace. Foam tray between sessions; dry brush after; and yes, keep the lava away from actual heat. Recommended age: 14+. Not a toy. Not intended for children under 14.
