Black, red and gold, on a duck, without the beer-tent tat
A collectible figurine in German heritage colours, built as a display piece rather than a festival souvenir. That distinction is the entire brief: almost everything in this category is disposable stein-shaped merchandise, and this is a small sculpture intended to still be on the shelf in five years.
Family shelves and October tables
It gets bought for Oktoberfest gatherings, for a relative who still makes the Christmas stollen from a handwritten recipe, and for the second- and third-generation German-Canadian households across southern Ontario and the prairies who keep the thread going without much on the market to help. Printed in Quebec.
Colour, printed not painted
Printed in PLA at a 0.16 mm layer height on our own FDM machines. The colour bands are laid into the print rather than applied afterwards, so there is no coating to scuff on the band edges — which is where painted heritage pieces usually fail first.
A piece that stays out
Unlike seasonal festival merchandise, this is meant to stay on the shelf when October ends. It needs no wrapping between uses and no maintenance beyond dusting. If it is going onto a table for a gathering, it stands unaided on any flat surface and will not tip when a table is knocked.
