Description
The Twisty White Rabbit takes a familiar animal and stretches it into something stranger. The body is elongated and segmented along its length, closer to a serpentine creature than a rabbit, while the head keeps the long ears and compact face that make the species instantly readable. The result sits somewhere between recognisable and unsettling, which is clearly deliberate.
Segmented along the whole body
Rather than a handful of joints at the limbs, the articulation runs the length of the figure. Each segment pivots against the next, so the rabbit bends in a continuous curve instead of at a few fixed points. That is what allows the S-shapes and spirals; a conventionally jointed figure simply cannot make those shapes, because it has nowhere to bend in the middle.
It never displays the same way twice
Coiled around the base of a lamp, flowing along a shelf edge, or gathered upright into an alert posture — the same object reads as a different sculpture in each. This is the sort of piece people rearrange absent-mindedly while thinking, which is a reasonable argument for keeping it within arm’s reach rather than behind glass.
Why white
The white PLA is doing real work here. Without colour to distract, the eye follows the curve of the body and the repetition of the segments, and the piece reads as sculptural rather than as a toy figure. Under a desk lamp the segment edges pick up a soft line of shadow that changes as you reposition it.

This is a decorative collectible for ages 14 and up. The segments move freely and do not need forcing — work slowly along the body rather than bending from the ends, keep it away from heat, and dust it dry.
