Browse 84 Unique TwistyPrints Designs

TwistyPrints designs articulated creatures with a strong bias toward myth, folklore and cryptids — the things that show up in stories rather than in field guides. The sculpts and the joint engineering are the artist's work. 3DCentral is the manufacturer: we print this collection to order at our farm in Laval, Quebec, with permission, as part of our curated community-artist lineup. Two separate credits, both true, and we keep them separate.

A catalogue built out of folklore

The recurring characters here are the ones people already have a story about. The Wendigo and the Loch Ness Monster cover North American and Scottish cryptid territory; Anubis brings Egyptian mythology, including darker colourways like Obsidian Flame; the Twisty Kitsune renders the nine-tailed fox spirit with a segmented, flowing tail that is the whole point of the model. Around them sit the Bigfoot bundle, the Articulated Snow Dragon, the Steampunk Angler Fish, the Spiral-Tusk Mammoth and seasonal work such as the Articulated Gingerbread Spider and the Gothic Flapper Doll. Most of it is indexed under Articulated Figurines and Figurines, with smaller pockets in Foxes, Cats and Seasonal.

Made for handling, not just for looking at

These are tactile objects. A TwistyPrints tail or spine is a run of chain-link segments, and the pleasure of the piece is in the movement, so a joint that binds ruins it. We print in durable PLA, one order at a time, tune each model's clearances and cooling for reliable articulation, then flex every joint by hand and inspect the piece before packing. 3DCentral is accountable for the physical object you receive — the print, the finish, the packaging, the shipment. The design belongs to TwistyPrints.

Commercial rights

TwistyPrints pieces are decorative collectibles for enthusiasts aged 14 and up, meant for desks, shelves and display cases rather than as children's toys. For commercial printing rights to TwistyPrints designs, contact the artist directly — 3DCentral prints them under permission and cannot license another creator's work to third parties.
