Browse 81 Unique Flexi Factory Designs

Flexi Factory is one of the most recognisable names in print-in-place design. The studio's signature is the chain-link joint: a model that leaves the build plate as a single piece and already bends, coils and poses without glue, hardware or assembly. 3DCentral did not design these models — Flexi Factory did. What we do is manufacture them, on demand, at our print farm in Laval, Quebec, under permission, as part of our curated community-artist lineup.

What the collection covers

The Flexi Factory range in our catalogue leans heavily on natural history and mechanical whimsy. Prehistoric skeletons are the backbone of it — articulated Spinosaurus, Ankylosaurus and Stegosaurus builds whose vertebrae flex one segment at a time, offered in both bone-white and rainbow filament runs. Alongside them sit ocean pieces such as the Articulated Orca and the Pirate Squid, desk companions like the Articulated Monkey and the Mouse with Cheese, and steampunk hardware including the Cyber Bee Majestus mecha. Most of the range lives in Articulated Figurines and Figurines, with a substantial cluster in Dinosaurs & Prehistoric.

How we print them

Every piece on this page is printed to order in durable PLA rather than pulled off a warehouse shelf. Print-in-place articulation is unforgiving work: joint clearances are a fraction of a millimetre, so we tune flow, cooling and first-layer settings per model to get joints that move freely on the first flex instead of fusing shut. Each print is inspected, the joints are worked loose by hand, and the piece is packed by the same team that ran it. 3DCentral stands behind the physical object — the print quality, the packaging and the shipment. The design credit belongs entirely to Flexi Factory.

Rights, and where to go next

These are decorative collectibles for enthusiasts aged 14 and up, made for a desk, a shelf or a display case — not children's toys. For commercial printing rights to Flexi Factory designs, contact the artist directly; 3DCentral cannot license another creator's work. If articulated engineering is what brought you here, the TwistyPrints and Cinderwing3D collections are built the same way, or browse everything in the shop.
