This is the only archive on the site where every single design is ours. Elsewhere in the catalogue our originals share shelf space with licensed models from community artists; here, every piece was drawn, tested and print-tuned in house at our farm in Laval, Quebec. If you have ever wondered which products are actually 3DCentral's own work, this page is the answer.
Designed for the plate it prints on
Most 3D models are designed and then handed to a printer to cope with. We work the other way around. Our designers sit beside the production floor, so a model is judged not only on how it looks in a render but on whether it comes off the plate clean, in colour after colour, print after print. That constraint shapes the catalogue: overhangs that do not need supports, joints sized to survive a thousand cycles, surfaces that read well in matte and in silk, and wall thicknesses chosen so a piece feels solid in the hand rather than hollow.
The result is a house style you can recognise. Character penguins in costume — ninja, captain, royal. Hybrid animals that should not work and do, like the Chihuahua Fox and the Panda Penguin. Profession ducks. Teddy bears with a gothic streak. Seasonal pieces built to a deadline and retired when the season turns. Most sit at $12.99.
Printed in Quebec, on demand
Nothing here is warehoused overseas and shipped in a container. A 3DCentral original is printed to order in plant-based PLA at our own facility, quality-checked, and sent from Laval. That is what lets us keep an unusually deep catalogue live at once: we are not carrying inventory risk on a thousand-plus designs, we are carrying filament. It is also why colour and finish options exist at all — matte, silk and translucent are a setting on our floor, not a separate production run in another country.
Commercial licensing — and its exact boundary
Run a print farm, or sell on Etsy? Our Commercial License grants the right to print and sell 3DCentral original designs — every model in this archive, and only these. Community-artist models elsewhere in the catalogue are not covered by it; for commercial rights to those, contact the artist directly. The licence covers unlimited physical prints while the subscription is active, and does not permit resale of the digital files.
