Gemstone Dragon in an Egg
A dragon that lives inside its own egg. The only model in this range that is not a skeleton, and
the only one that does something when you open it.
What it does
The egg is scaled like cut stone and splits into halves. Inside, a dragon roughly thirteen inches
long uncoils — every segment of it articulated, so it can be posed wrapped around the egg, stretched
out along a shelf, or coiled back inside and closed away.
How it moves
The body is a chain of printed-in joints from head to tail tip. There is no assembly: the dragon
and the egg both come off the print bed finished.
Choosing a finish
This design is offered in 30 finishes on this page — single-tone gemstone colours through to multi-colour silks. Whichever you pick is printed to order in that filament, so the colour goes all the way through the model instead of sitting on top of it, and a scuff will not show a different colour underneath.
