The Signal Before the Charge

Every warband needs the one who makes the noise that starts everything, and the hornblower’s job description is exactly that. Field him beside the front rank where the raised horn reads as countdown, pose the call from draw to full blast, or paint the war-paint and horn brass as the army’s loudest heraldry. Store him in a foam tray between sessions, dry brush the armor after painting, and keep radiators past the echo. Recommended age: 14+. Not a toy. Not intended for children under 14.
