Articulated Spinosaurus Skeleton Figurine
A spinosaurus skeleton, defined by the sail carried along its spine.
What it looks like
The head is long and narrow, closer in shape to a crocodile’s than a tyrannosaur’s, with a deep
eye socket and a jaw hinged to open. Above the body, a rank of individual spines stands upright to
form the sail — printed separately, so it reads as a row of bones rather than a solid fin. The tail
runs on past the ribs in linked segments and thins to a blunt end.
How it moves
Jaw, spine and tail all articulate. The sail stays rigid.
Living with it
The sail makes it tall for its length, so it wants headroom rather than width. Seen end-on it
almost disappears, which is worth knowing if you are placing it on a narrow shelf.
Choosing a finish
This design is offered in 30 finishes on this page — single-tone gemstone colours through to multi-colour silks. Whichever you pick is printed to order in that filament, so the colour goes all the way through the model instead of sitting on top of it, and a scuff will not show a different colour underneath.
