Description
Articulated Shark Skeleton Figurine
A shark skeleton that flexes like one. A desk or office piece rather than a shelf ornament,
because it is more interesting in the hand than at rest.
How it moves
The backbone is built from individual segments that curve and flex along the length of the body,
and the side fin turns on a ring joint at its root. It prints already assembled with the joints
working — there is nothing to build and nothing to clip together.
What it looks like
A tapered skull with the jaw structure suggested rather than fully toothed, a ribcage over the
forward third of the body, and a spine that narrows steadily into the tail fin.
Choosing a finish
This design is offered in 29 finishes on this page — single-tone gemstone colours through to multi-colour silks. Whichever you pick is printed to order in that filament, so the colour goes all the way through the model instead of sitting on top of it, and a scuff will not show a different colour underneath.
