The Season’s Other List

December has two traditions: the one with presents, and the older one with consequences. Krampus represents the second, and does it with horns. Pose him looming over a garland, seat him beside the reindeer as the holiday’s counterweight, or keep him year-round on a folklore shelf among myth references. A soft brush keeps the menace mobile; keep him from heat, which he would consider redundant. Recommended age: 14+. Not a toy. Not intended for children under 14.
