Quick answer. 3DCentral prints for Sherbrooke and the Eastern Townships from its 3D print farm in Laval. Custom figurines, collectible dinosaurs and creatures, tabletop minis, display pieces and short runs, built from a photo, an STL file or a plain description. Prices in Canadian dollars, service in French or English, approval before printing.
Nothing belonging to 3DCentral is in the Townships
No workshop, no office, no counter and no local partner carries our name in the region. Collection is not possible in Sherbrooke or anywhere else in the Townships: parcels leave Laval by carrier. We say it plainly because a city page often implies otherwise.
Production facility: 3DCentral Solutions Inc., 1325 Rue Bergar, Laval, QC H7L 4Z7, Canada.
If you already own a printer, the real question is a different one
Sherbrooke has an unusually high share of people who already print at home. For them the question is never “what is 3D printing”, it is “why would I not print this myself”. Honest answer: very often, you should. A one-off part ten centimetres tall, in PLA, with no finishing requirement, belongs on your own machine.
What a farm brings is something else. A volume that overruns a desktop build plate and would otherwise have to be cut apart and glued back together. A quantity that would monopolise your printer for a solid week while you need it for something else. A run where all thirty copies have to match, which means several machines watched in parallel rather than one machine restarted thirty times. Or simply a project whose deadline does not forgive a bed adhesion failure at three in the morning.
What the region asks us for
- Personalised figurines and gifts — a piece built from a photo, a pet or a character, usually against a fixed date.
- Minis, terrain and collectibles — for the region’s game tables, display cabinets and collections.
- Printing files you already own — your STL, our materials, without you having to babysit the job.
- Runs for clubs and local businesses — tournament prizes, display stands, recognition pieces, with Canadian invoicing.
- Model rescue — holes in the mesh, walls too thin, inconsistent scale, a file that refuses to slice cleanly.
And if you simply want a finished object, the online shop ships throughout the Townships.
One thing worth saying to an audience that knows the craft: we will tell you when a job is not worth sending out. If your description reads like an evening on your own machine, that is what we will say. The work we are genuinely better placed to take on is the work that scales badly at home.
The route to Sherbrooke
Our machines sit roughly 180 kilometres from the city, by road and without leaving the province. Canadian carriers generally quote one to two business days on ground service over that distance. That window is the carrier’s, it comes after production, and 3DCentral does not guarantee it. Production duration depends on the piece, the quantity and the finish, and it appears in the quote.
Pricing and tax
Every estimate starts from printed volume, material choice, internal density, finishing level and unit count, in Canadian currency. Delivery is domestic: no customs, no brokerage, nothing charged on arrival. Provincial and federal taxes in force are applied at the payment step.
Starting a quote
Drop your STL file, photo or description on the print my file page. If you have already tried slicing the part at home, tell us what went wrong — that is often the most useful line in the whole request. You get a price and a schedule before printing.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a 3DCentral workshop in Sherbrooke?
No, and there is no local partner either. Our only facility is the one in Laval.
Can I collect my order in the Townships?
No, no collection point exists in the region. Every order ships out of Laval.
Can you print a file I already have?
Yes, and it is a common request here. Send the STL with the scale you want, the material and the quantity.
My part is too big for my build plate. Is that a problem?
Not necessarily. Give the target dimensions in your request and the quote will say whether it comes out in one piece.
Do you accept small quantities?
Yes, from a single copy up to a full run. Unit price moves with quantity and the quote breaks it down.
Is service available in French?
Entirely, from the first enquiry through to post-delivery follow-up.
