Our Quebec-made filament line celebrates its first year. Performance data, customer feedback, and new color announcements mark this milestone in our vertical integration strategy.
Production Quality Metrics
Over one year of production, our filament maintained diameter consistency of plus or minus 0.02mm — matching or exceeding imported premium brands. Color-to-color consistency is verified through spectrophotometer testing.
Customer Feedback
Beta testers and early adopters report excellent print quality, reliable feeding, and consistent results across different printer brands. The most common feedback: “it just works” — the highest compliment for filament.
New Colors for 2026
Expanding from our launch palette of 12 colors, we are adding 8 new colors including metallic copper, forest green, ocean blue, sunset orange, and four specialty silk variants.
Cost Savings
Local filament production reduces our material costs by eliminating import shipping and customs. These savings contribute to competitive product pricing and higher margins for commercial license subscribers.
Future Materials
PETG production begins in Q2 2026. Specialty materials including matte PLA and translucent variants are in development. Our goal is to produce every filament type we use at our Quebec facility.
